Report on Intercollegiate Online Note Writing Competition Organized in connection with World Love a Tree Day – May 16, 2025 By NSS Unit No: 265, Mar Baselios College of Education, Sulthan Bathery
In connection with World Love a Tree Day, the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit No. 265 of Mar Baselios College of Education, Sulthan Bathery organized an Intercollegiate Online Note Writing Competition for B.Ed students across various colleges. The event was aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of trees and encouraging students to express their bond with nature creatively.
The theme for the competition was: “Tree Tales: My Special Tree at Home” Participants were invited to write a note describing a special tree at their home and why it holds personal significance. The competition received enthusiastic participation from B.Ed students of different colleges, each sharing touching and personal stories of their favorite trees. The entries reflected a deep sense of environmental consciousness and emotional attachment to nature.
