 Zero Discrimination Day is observed every year on March 1.

It is promoted by UNAIDS (Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS) to highlight the importance of equality, inclusion, compassion, and peace.

Mar Baselios College of Education Sulthan Bathery conducts programmes such as a thought provoking message, and solidarity pledge on this occasion.

WORLD WILDLIFE DAY CELEBRATION

 Today is WorldWild life Day.The day is celebrated to mark the signing of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) in 1973

World Wildlife Day is observed to raise awareness about wild animals and plants,to highlight the importance of biodiversity,to promote conservation efforts & to address issues like poaching, habitat.

The day occupies significant importance to Mar Baselios College since it is located in the Wayanad district .The Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the district.

Mar Baselios College of Education Sulthan Bathery celebrated World Wildlife day in association with NSS and Department of Natural Science.A QR code of the various animals seen nearby the campus was posted in various parts of the college which contained detailed information on thesev various animals.
