DRAMA AND ART IN EDUCATION WORKSHOP

                                              

A one-day Art and Drama Workshop was successfully conducted on 20th June 2025 at Mar Baselios College of Education. The session was led by Ms. Saranya S, artist and educator, who engaged the participants through a variety of creative and interactive activities.

The workshop began with an introductory session on the role of art and drama in education, highlighting how they can enhance creativity, communication skills, and emotional expression among learners. This was followed by a series of hands-on activities including:

Painting exercises focused on expressive art and color exploration

Fun and collaborative games to build trust, spontaneity, and imagination

Comic strip creation, encouraging storytelling, visual literacy, and humour

The participants, comprising student-teachers, actively took part in all the sessions and shared positive feedback about the learning experience. The workshop fostered a joyful and inclusive environment, offering tools and ideas that can be integrated into classroom teaching.
