Photography Contest Environmental Day
In observance of World Environment Day 2025, the Department of Natural Science at Mar Baselios College of Education organized an Online Photography Contest on the powerful and thought-provoking theme "Suffocating Nature." The contest aimed to shed light on the growing threats faced by the natural world due to human-induced degradation, and to inspire environmental consciousness through visual storytelling. The contest sought to raise awareness about environmental issues such as pollution, deforestation, and urban encroachment & encourage participants to creatively highlight the suffering of nature due to human negligence. Participants submitted impactful visuals depicting environmental damage, suffocation of ecosystems, and the urgent need for sustainable action. After thorough evaluation, the following participants were declared winners:
