Report on Republic Day Quiz Competition
As part of the Republic Day celebrations, the Department of Social Science, under the "Solace Club," organized a Quiz Competition on January 27, 2025, at 12:15 PM in the First-Year Mathematics classroom. The event was officially inaugurated by Mrs. Thushara P Paulose, Head of the Social Science Department.
The competition featured eight participating groups and was structured into three distinct categories:
- The Constitution of India
- The History of the Republic
- Current Affairs
The participants displayed remarkable enthusiasm and knowledge throughout the competition. After an intense and engaging session, the winners were declared as follows:
🥇 First Prize - First-Year Physical Science
🥈 Second Prize - Second-Year Physical Science
🥉 Third Prize - First-Year English
The Republic Day Quiz Competition successfully achieved its objectives, fostering awareness, patriotism, and a deeper understanding of India's democratic heritage among students. The event was a grand success, inspiring participants to enhance their knowledge and appreciation of India's rich history and governance.
