The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Mar Baselios
College of Education, Sulthan Bathery, organized a workshop on “Smart Teaching with ICT: Tools for Future
Educators” on October 10, 2025, at 9:30 AM.
The session began with a prayer, followed by a welcome
address by Ms. Chithira P.C., IQAC
Co-ordinator, and Ms. Jayakala M,
Vice Principal, who delivered the presidential address, stressing the
relevance of technology integration in teaching.
The resource
person, Dr. S. Sajan, Assistant
Professor, NSS Training College,
Ottapalam, and National Trainer in Techno-Pedagogy, led the workshop. He
conducted an insightful and interactive session on the effective use of ICT in
teaching. His presentation covered various educational applications, online
tools, and digital strategies that make the teaching-learning process more engaging
and learner-centered.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Drishya Dineshan, 1st Year B.Ed.
Mathematics student. The workshop provided valuable insights into smart
teaching and motivated future educators to adopt ICT-based teaching methods.
