A webinar on “Achievement Test Construction” was successfully conducted on *11th August 2025* under the auspices of *Mar Baselios College of Education (MBCE). The programme was organized in collaboration with the **Association of International Researchers of Indian Origin (AIRIO)* and the *Council for Teacher Education Foundation (CTEF), Kerala Chapter*.
The session was held under the able guidance of *Dr. Sunith Kumar G. N., Principal, MBCE. The event began with a warm welcome address delivered by **Mr. Rejeesh Kumar K. K., Assistant Professor in Commerce*, who also served as the programme coordinator.
The distinguished *resource person, Ms. Neethi S. Lal, Assistant Professor in Mathematics, Kerala University College of Teacher Education, Kunnam, Mavelikkara, delivered an insightful and informative session on the construction of achievement tests. She highlighted the *concept, purpose, and steps involved in developing achievement tests, emphasizing their importance in evaluating learning outcomes. Ms. Neethi also explained the practical relevance of achievement test construction in the **internship phase of teacher education*, making the session highly beneficial for the student-teachers.
The presentation was both *engaging and comprehensive, encouraging participants to gain clarity on various aspects such as **blueprint preparation, item writing, scoring schemes, and interpretation of results*.
